A wall-mounted sculpture in wood, marine clay, straw, titanium dioxide, red iron-oxide, linseed oil and whiting, 92 x 15 x 65 cm

Shown at the group exhibitions Hidden Stone at Velferden - Sokndals scene for samtidskunst and TiO2 Prøvefelt at ROM in Oslo. The work was made as part of my partitcipation in the student group for the research project TiO2: The Materiality of White headed by Dr Marte Johnslien, Associate Professor of Ceramic Art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Norway. The TiO2 project reseaches the the chemical compound titanium dioxide (TiO2) and how it circulates through our material and biological systems.
